I don't post or send my opinions to anybody because I believe in not forcing anything on anyone, but this is my website so you are looking at this of your own free will.

It's 2008 and more than ever people & political groups are trying to take away your freedoms. They say it's for your own safety or it's the humane thing to do. While they are trying to protect everyone; the crime level goes up, terrorists sneak over the borders, and people transmit viruses on international flights.

They think that if I don't have a gun in my house that crime will go down, ya whatever. Criminals will get weapons no matter how the government restricts them. The criminals will also be able to kill me when I can't defend myself. However, I don't recommend that people go buy a gun without getting the proper training first. I have been trained since I was young about weapons safety by my parents & grandparents.

My solution to crime is to train all children in grade school about weapons safety, make it mandatory to serve your country in the military for 2 years after high school, and arm anyone that can pass a criminal check.

Antoher subject that gets me riled is the extreme pet protection groups telling me that it is inhumane to breed any animals. I hear that PETA thinks it is inhumane to even keep a pet.

I breed healthy & happy baby birds, I don't over breed them, so I only have 6 to 10 babies a year. My breeding pairs are treated better than my Husband, and have better nutrition than I do most of the time.

You could look at the picture of the African Grey I have that has no feathers on her chest and say that she looks neglected, but you'd be dead wrong. She has more feathers now than when I got her, and is overall in better physical condition.

I have 4 dogs and a rescued pot belly pig that are treated like my children. I don't have any animals that have uncontroled breeding or run wild. They are all well nurished and have all their shots, and so just let them come and tell me that I am inhumane. I contribute only to my local rescue groups that I know are taking care of animals that really need it, and not the national liberal groups that take pets and put them to sleep so that they won't be owned by humans again.

Till next time.....................................;)

How would you feel if someone came to your house and bought a bird or other pet from you, spent less than two hours in your house then made nasty comments on the web about you? Feel hurt, disgusted, and betrayed? Maybe. I don't really feel any of those things, just sorry for someone that forms opinions on such a small amount of information. I will sell my babies and tell you how they were cared for and played with, just ask me. I sold an adult bird that was wild caught, untame, and had an unkown past in better condition than when I got it. Everyone wants to judge, nobody wants the entire truth.

If you come to this site after seeing a woman's myspace page keep in mind that she doesn't know me and only spent enough time in my house to pick up the bird.

Ask me questions, I'll tell the truth, but don't form opinions until you get the entire picture, walk a mile in my shoes.
